The Parents:

Mom and Dad got married on April 30, 2005.  It was only two months later that they found out I was on the way!  Believe it or not, mom and dad met on match.com and dated for 6 months before deciding to get married! 

In preparation for me, they decided to purchase a new home!  They packed their bags in Raleigh and moved out to the country in Oxford! 

Dad works as a brave police officer in Durham.  (Mom thinks it's a dangerous job, but she is proud of him).  He really likes to ride his motorcycle and to snowboard.  Dad tells mom that he can't wait to teach me these things.  Mom cringes and gets worried!

Mom works at Duke Clinical Research Institute in Durham.  She loves to scrapbook and work on my website in her spare time.  She's really excited about learning about little boys since she grew up around girls and did the "girly" things.  I kinda think she might enjoy being a soccer mom!


The Grandparents:

On the "Underhill" side of the family, I will have one set of grandparents (Mimi and Paw Paw), one great-grandmother, an aunt and uncle, a great-uncle, and two cousins!

On the "LeConey" side of the family, I will have a grandmother (still determining what he will call her!), one great-grandmother and grandfather, aunts and uncles, and several cousins!

Naming of Tyler Richard:

My middle name, Richard, is in honor of my grandfather who passed away before I could meet him.
